His brother Ian The 65-year-old believes the court of public opinion is denying her bail and convicting her even before her trial in New York next month.
He describes his detention as an “abuse of human rights”.
Businessman Ian is one of nine children of publishing mogul Robert Maxwell, who was found dead in 1991.
Ghislaine, the former lover of the billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, will face six counts at his trial, including the sex trafficking conspiracy and the sex trafficking of a minor.
She has been in prison for 471 days in New York after being arrested in July 2020.
That’s more than Epstein went through in jail before committing suicide in his cell in 2019.
This week, Maxwell’s legal team received the names of the women who accuse her of recruiting them as teenagers for Epstein to sexually abuse them.
Ian Maxwell told The Daily Telegraph: “The narrative is ‘all women must be believed.’
“Epstein was a monster, but Epstein is dead now, so Ghislaine is the monster and she is a woman, so that makes her a double monster.
“And Bob Maxwell’s daughter turns her into a triple monster.”
